Our exciting flexible class system gives you flexibility in how you schedule your dog’s training classes – even in the case of vacations, sickness, conflicting activities (business meetings, concerts). Now you can even take classes if you a shift worker !

Camp Doggone Pawsitive knows that life can be hectic and that many people want to train their dogs but find it hard to be locked into a fixed schedule. So we responded by re-designing most of our courses to a flexible class format. This is a unique Doggone Pawsitive feature !

• All classes offer a rolling enrollment so you can start any time - no more waiting for a class to start and no more waiting until you have 6 or 8 weeks completely free to start a course.

• You get all the lessons you pay for - in a traditional 6 or 8 week program if you miss you often miss out on that lesson

How Does Our Class system work?

• Choose a class or service based on your needs from our class list and descriptions on our website
• Email or call us to register or for more information - online registration coming soon!
• If you are registering for a beginner level course, we book you into an introductory session called an Orientation which is part people training, part dog training.
• At orientation we demonstrate the basic training principles, some simple obedience exercises and talk about problem solving and how it applies to your situation.
• This gets you started working on your dog's problems right away.
• You don't bring your dog to orientation - just family members.
• Orientations are held weekly and all family members are welcome to attend.
• After orientation we designed a simple to use system that allows YOU to be in control of your own class schedule.
• Book into a class type that best suits your needs and then you build your own personalized schedule according to the schedule posted on our website at www.doggonepawsitive.com.
• If you don’t have internet – we can print a schedule for you.
• The class schedules will be posted for at least a month in advance.
• You can attend any class labeled the same as the one you originally booked into – ie. Flex pup 1 & 2 (2 parts of Perfect Puppy Kindergarten – see below for details ), Older pup/Adult Good Manners (for puppies older than 6 months and adult dogs), Level 2 Good Manners Out in the Community).
• For Puppy, Older pup/Adult Good Manners – class is 5 weeks with the group + orientation.
• Perfect Puppy Kindergarten is divided into Flex puppy 1 & Flex puppy 2 each with its own skills to work on. An owner completes two Flex pup 1 classes then moves on to 3 Flex pup 2 classes.
• Level 2 Good Manners Out in the Community, Rally Obedience, Agility are 6 weeks all with the group.
• You can stick with the same class night/day for all your classes or if your class is offered in multiple time slots you can rotate classes if need be. All classes are self contained – so you are never behind!
• For new class registrants - the only thing we need to know is what day or night you have chosen to start your class. Once you attend orientation it is the responsibility of the family to follow up by checking the schedule on our website and then to advise via email or telephone when you want to start.
• If you miss a class - no worries - just check the calendar and plan to attend a future class. To make things faster and easier for you - no need to notify us just show up.
• Last session is your graduation - complete with diploma. No formal gowns or tuxes necessary but we have had some bow ties and pearls!
• Please do check the website calendar each week before you come as special events and/or holidays may impact our class schedule.
• Your family has 3 months from registration to complete the classes. However, if there are holidays or the instructor is away - your course completion time is extended accordingly.
• We regret for business reasons all classes/services - must be completed within the designated time frame indicated for that service or the class/service will expire. Classes/Services are non-refundable once payment is made.
